WELCOME to the Scottish Carp Group website
Introduction
The Scottish Carp Group was formed in 1988 by five individuals who were keen to promote carp fishing in Scotland and this is still the main aim of the group today. Since those early days the group has grown to around two hundred members and now has seven waters to it's name and continues to grow at a steady pace. There are no waiting lists and membership is open to everyone. All our members are keen carp anglers but many of us fish for other species eg pike, tench, roach etc and some have an
interest in sea angling. This diversity means that information and discussion is not limited to carp angling. Many of our members travel around the world in search of big fish, some of the stories are amazing!
